Friday, July 15, 2016

Over the next four years, students will have increased opportunities to engage with the arts thanks to a new grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Krannert Center received funding that will support a residency by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, performances by diverse cultural groups, interactions with artists, a program specifically for students in the Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls, new creative work, a course, and other efforts. The grant will help Krannert Center continue and expand its initiatives to introduce the arts to young audiences. Read additional details about the grant in a News Bureau article.
