Uncorked and On Topic Resumes February 2

Tuesday, January 24, 2017

The series of casual conversations between FAA faculty members returns on February 2 for its first session of 2017. Amy Powell of Krannert Art Museum and Ryan Griffis from the School of Art and Design will focus on how objects and aesthetics relate to locations. Powell is the curator of contemporary and modern art and has concentrated her research on global contemporary art and film, while Griffis is an associate professor of new media, a co-founder of the art and writing platform Regional Relationships, and a contributor to the collective Compass Collaborators. This free event will be held at 5:15 p.m. in the Tryon Festival Theatre Foyer at Krannert Center in conjunction with Krannert Uncorked, a chance to taste wines and socialize.
