Now in its seventh iteration, Krannert Center's guitarapalooza unites planetary six-string masters in a celebration featuring free concerts, a broad array of musical forms, activities for kids, and a no-holds-barred opening event.
As part of its outreach programs, Krannert Art Museum invites children to tour a gallery, where they typically examine a handful of paintings and sharpen their observational skills and critical thinking. The museum also partners with local school systems for longer and deeper explorations of art.

Combining scientific and movement research, Jennifer Monson leads iLAND (the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Art, Nature, and Dance), creates site-specific pieces such as The Mahomet Aquifer Project, and investigates media and motion in works including Live Dancing Archive, which incorporates improvisations made at the seashore in response to migrating gray whales and birds.
In Erik Hemingway's fall 2016 course Design: Detail and Architectonics, students were tasked with developing architecture as though it were a living organism that would react to its surroundings. Zenan Shen created a floating structure tied to the ocean floor.
