Oak Park Public Library

Alumnus Donald McKay has focused on public buildings in his career, with many centered on service, education, and culture. Constructed in 2003 and designed by his firm Nagle Hartray Architecture, the Oak Park Public Library boasts a green roof, floors made from recycled rubber, LED lighting in the parking structure, and materials selected to fit into the naturescape and reduce energy use.
